2017 FAST Conference Presenter List
SASMA are excited to unveil a high profile and highly skilled group of presenters for our 2017 FAST conference. Our presenters have worked with athletes at the elite and community level across a variety of different sports.
Jane was Head Coach for the Adelaide Thunderbirds for eight years. In addition to this Jane was Assistant Coach to the Australian Diamonds in 2008. In 2010 & 2013, Jane was named Netball Coach of the Year. Currently, Jane is the Head of Sport Development & High Performance at Westminster School, Assistant Coach for the Australia Fast 5’s and a Technical Coach for the Northern Mystics.

Rachel is an APA Sports Physiotherapist at Physioactive in Gawler. Rachel has been the team Physiotherapist for the Australian Women’s Basketball team for 8 years. She was the lead Physiotherapist to the Opals at the London Olympics in 2012 and will be joining them at the Rio Olympics in 2016.
Jarrod is currently the Player Education Officer at Adelaide Football Club. He is the former West Adelaide Football Club U18 Centre of Excellence Head Coach. In 2011 Jarrod won the U16 Coach of the Year Award and in 2014 the SANFL U18 Coach of the Year Award. Jarrod has worked as an Elite Development Coach for AFL draftees which has seen him have a 100% success rate.
Sam is a former international gymnast. He has represented Australia at six World Championships and won two gold medals at the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games. Sam has since used his knowledge of elite sport to assist his physiotherapy career in beginning work with athletes in the Gymnastics SA high performance centre and development squads at Swimming SA.
Damir is currently working as a Podiatrist at Wakefield Sports Clinic. Damir has a high level of experience working in sport, currently working with the Modbury Jets Soccer Club and the Matrics Netball Club. Damir also teaches first year biomechanics to Podiatry students at Uni SA.
Andrew Webber is a musculoskeletal / manipulative physiotherapist with 21 years experience in private practice. He has been a Principal Physiotherapist at SPORTSMED.SA since 2001 and was the team Physiotherapist for the Adelaide 36ers for 6 years. In addition Andrew has also worked with the Adelaide Lightning and has provided service to many visiting NBL and WNBL teams.
Andrea graduated from the University of South Australia in 1999 and has worked in the public and private sectors in both the country and the city. After completing a Masters Degree in Health Services Management in 2006, Andrea decided it was time to put his education to work and start his own practice, AC Podiatry. Andrea is currently the podiatrist for Central Districts Football Club and a mentor to final year Podiatry students.
Matt is an Accredited Sports Dietitian. He has previously worked with the Adelaide Football Club and is currently a Research Assistant at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
